The

Insight
Data Ltd was established by a team of marketing
professionals from the building and window
industry who were frustrated
with the poor quality of data available from
existing data providers.
We are
not volume data providers with millions of records.
We specialise in the building industry and develop
niche databases that provide clients with in-depth
market intelligence not available elsewhere.
In early
2007 Insight was acquired by the Ascot Group headed
by Andrew Scott, and seen major investment and
management resources. That investment led to
expanded premises, a new in-house telephone research
centre with state-of-the-art VoIP telephone
technology, a dedicated software division and a
standalone fulfilment division for direct mail and
email marketing.

Recognition
Our
attention to research quality and customer service
standards resulted in the Direct Marketing
Association accrediting Insight with full
membership in May 2009. The DMA is the
internationally renowned marketing authority that
sets marketing standards and controls the
government's Telephone and Fax Preference Service.
In
October 2009 Insight was recognised for its
achievements by the Government-backed Enterprise
Agency's "Sian Lloyd-Jones Business of the Year
Awards" in which Insight scooped first place.
Growth, innovation, quality management, employment
and financial success were all key factors in this
award.
Technology and
Innovation
In early
2008 Insight Data launched SalesTracker, the worlds
first online prospect database updated live in
real-time. The technology enables clients to
access the very latest data without the need for
old-fashioned desktop databases or software, without
the need for complicated updates, and simply by
logging-on from home, office on on-the-move from any
internet enabled computer or smartphone.
Now with
some 200 SalesTracker users, Insight has continued
to develop the system and a new version of
SalesTracker launching January 2010 promises to
revolutionise the way companies prospect for new
business with built-in campaign management, multiple
database applications, new CRM features, Task
Management and a host of new tools.
