G09 Regional Exhibition News

Insight Data was one of the first companies to sign up and support the new G09 Regional exhibitions for the industry.  Held at Telford on 9th and 10th June, Insight had probably the busiest stand at the show, with dozens of visitors and other exhibitors genuinely impressed with the online fabricator and installer database, direct mail services and new emarketing software.

Revolutionary new email marketing service

Direct Marketing Association welcomes Insight Data

After a lengthy assessment period, which included customer references and financial checks, Insight Data is the first and only database company in the window industry to be awarded membership of the internationally recognised Direct Marketing Association. Insight is committed to the DMA's "best practice" of data quality and management. "Incredibly some data providers have been in business over 10 years and are still not members" said David Lewis, Research Manager; "this clearly demonstrates Insight's professional approach."

Next stage of major expansion plans

Insight Data has completed the next stage of its expansion plan.  By far the fastest growing database provider to the window industry, Insight has acquired additional premises, and now operates over three floors, including a dedicated Research Centre.  Substantial investment has been made with a new VOIP telephone system to make 150,000 research calls per year, and the research team has been expanded with five new members of staff.  "This is in stark contrast to many of our competitors who don't have a research team or indeed outsource to telemarketing agencies to save costs" explains research manager David Lewis.

After 11 years with another database supplier, Spectus switch to Insight Data

Leading PVC-U systems company Spectus has introduced SalesTracker, the web-base fabricator and installer database from Insight Data.  Spectus sales director Duncan Douglas commented; “Insight gave us full access to their data so we could evaluate it first, and we were extremely impressed. The database will form part of our strategic marketing plan and as it’s updated in real-time we will always be working with up-to-date information, which is crucial in today’s rapidly changing market place"

Unsuspecting companies stung by unscrupulous database providers

When you take out a 12 month subscription to a database, you don't expect to be stung when it comes to the end of your contract. But that's exactly what several companies found when they switched from another well-known database provider - the provider tries to enforce a 6 month cancellation clause, regardless of how long you have dealt with them. At Insight Data, we believe this sort of behaviour should be banned, after all, companies should stand by the quality of their products, not the quality of their lawyers.

Leading systems-company Deceuninck switch from a competitor to Insight Data "As part of our pull-through marketing strategy we wanted to target installers and were impressed with the quality and accuracy of the Insight database" said Business Development Director Roy Shipley.

Insight first database company to invest at Glassex

Insight Data took a 6m wide double sided stand at Glassex 08 and signed up six new customers at the show, including machinery company Winmac. David Stone, MD at Winmac said "we were very impressed, Insight have invested substantially in the quality of their data."
