New appointment to head up expansion at Insight Data

Alex TremlettWindow industry data specialists, Insight Data, have implemented the next stage of their plan to expand and develop their range of prospect databases with the promotion of Alex Tremlett to call centre manager.

In his new role, Alex will be responsible for managing the Insight research team, monitoring calls and quality of data input to ensure customers are accessing the most accurate and up-to-date information available.

Alex has in-depth industry knowledge gained in his previous role as senior researcher and analyst and is well equipped for his new role as Insight Data steps up plans for growth with further expansion at its call centre.

Insight Data’s commercial director, Helen Costeloe-Hughes commented: “I’m delighted to announce the appointment of Alex as call centre manager. The skills he has gained as a researcher, along with knowledge of the industry and our data processing methods, will prove invaluable as he moves into this new role to head up the expansion of our call centre and oversee the smooth operation of this even as we step up the business.”

The Insight research team currently makes 20,000 phone calls every month to update Insight’s fenestration and wider construction industry databases, which include detailed information on window and door fabricators, installers, builders, house-builders, architects and more.

The call centre is one of seven different ways Insight updates information in real-time. Other methods include an integrated XML feed from a credit reference agency, a system to feed-in new company formations and start-ups, and ‘closed loop’ returns to improve deliverability rates of email and direct mail.

Alex Tremlett commented: “I’m looking forward to taking a hands-on approach, helping to train new employees, as well as support the rest of the team. This will allow us to increase information volumes whilst maintaining data quality to ensure customers get the best results possible from their sales and marketing campaigns when using our data.”
