Live marketing data success for Carl F Groupco

Until recently, Carl F Groupco had been importing datasheets manually into their CRM from another data provider. They found this process to be increasingly time-consuming and cumbersome, and so approached Insight Data in order to enhance the quality of their data and data management.

For most companies, we would recommend subscribing to Salestracker to stay sales organized, combining full access to the Insight databases within a CRM system. However, Carl F Groupco already had a sales and marketing management system in place across the company, so we offered a more bespoke solution for their needs.

Real time data feed direct to CRM

For a large hardware company like Carl F Groupco, switching data providers is no easy task, especially with an existing CRM in place. For most data suppliers, this would be too difficult a task. But at Insight Data, we wanted to help the business take advantage of quality, real-time data, without the upheaval of changing their CRM system.

Our solution was simple: we offered to help integrate our data directly into their existing CRM, using a live XML feed – or ‘Salestracker API’.

Custom algorithms for a live data feed

In preparation for the company receiving the real time XML feed, our IT team had to match up their existing records with data from the Insight Database. They did this by creating a number of custom algorithms on their data set, logging the Salestracker ID against corresponding records so that their records are updated whenever a change is made to the Insight databases.
Carl F Groupco also retained all records that existed outside of the Insight databases, and these remain as private company data.

This way, the company benefitted from the most up-to-date data available on the market, without overhauling their sales and marketing processes. Carl F Groupco were so impressed with the increased quality of data and improved marketing results, that they decided to invest in further databases.
