The course ahead is not going to be straightforward and for many of us the twists and turns are approaching fast. That is why having your best game plan in place will help you take back control, navigate the road to come and leave your competition behind.

For many, Salestracker has continued to be a fundamental part of their business throughout lockdown providing opportunities to better engage with customers, gather market intelligence and diversify into new markets. For others, business restrictions have meant limited or no access to the tool at all.

With 2021 just around the corner, Salestracker is ready to help you get back on track. We have spent a lot of time over the past few months reviewing and improving systems to ensure that when you are ready, so are we!

We asked our Customer Success Manager, Carley Fisher, what some of the top questions our Customer Success Team get from users, their answers and recommendations on getting the most out of the platform.

Q1. How can I access my key prospects quickly and with the information I need to reach out?

We have built the databases to allow you to really drill down into who it is you want to target, keeping in those dream accounts and removing those that aren’t quite right for you. Depending on the information you want to filter from Frames per week for Fenestration to sectors served in Construction, you can essentially build a list within 2 minutes in your list builder. Of course, the more filters you want to apply the longer this may take.

We always recommend building a master list and then separate lists for the more targeted campaigns so you can get to the right people, with the right message at the right time. Don’t forget the lists are live and dynamic so you can always feel confident you have the most up to date prospect information possible.

Q2. How do I ensure I am not contacting businesses that can put me at financial risk?

On your business record page we show you the companies credit profiling information if they Credit-Mobileare a limited company. This includes their credit score, financials, and employee numbers (where applicable). Once you have saved your list you can remove any company you don’t want to work with, based on credit score, by using the exclude function. This will ensure you can reach out to businesses with less risk factor attached to them.

Now more than ever it is really important to ensure you can safely do business. The credit profiling can also be applied to existing customers, where you can get a weekly report on those customers allowing you to prepare for any potential situations that may occur. You can set these up in your preferences and would definitely recommend doing this asap.

Q3. How can the CRM functionalities help me manage my sales team in a more efficient way?

Salestracker CRM was built with the sole purpose of allowing sales and marketing teams to work more efficiently and provide measurability on the data itself.

One of the most important things for any sales or marketing team is leads, however all teams essentially want to earn more than they pay for those leads. With the CRM functionality you can track how many meetings your team has, the pipeline they have generated themselves, or through marketing, as well as move opportunities through the sales funnel, with our unique chilli rating system.
